Societal Commitment

Societal commitment
Adopting a responsible approach and making training and education more accessible to everyone
A pledge to comply with the 10 principles of the Global Compact
The Global Compact offers its members a framework for voluntary commitment to ten principles concerning human rights, labour law, the environment and fighting corruption.
The UN Global Compact calls on companies to meet or exceed the vision of the 2030 Agenda. It thus promotes the goals of sustainable development.
As a signatory, Cegos is part of this movement and is committed to making progress.
Committed to education and inclusion worldwide
For many years, Cegos has provided financial support to initiatives that make education and training more accessible to everyone, everywhere in the world.

As a sponsor of UNICEF since 2016, we are continuing our commitment to education by backing the “GIRL POWER” programme in Côte d'Ivoire.
The programme is intended for 300 girls aged 16 to 24 who have dropped out of school, are unemployed or have an insecure job, in San Pedro and Abidjan. It bridges the gap between school drop-out and professional training centres. The girls are thus given the opportunity to enter the world of work, to take an active part in community life and to gain independence.
Cegos has been supporting the Paris-Tegu association since 2020.
The Franco-Honduran NGO works for the protection and social and professional integration of disadvantaged young people in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. The financial support of Cegos in 2021 has enabled it to participate in the digital transformation of the Cultural Centre. A psychological support programme was also set up at the Centre.

For several years now, Cegos has been providing free training to NGOs and their professionals.
The aim is to equip them with the managerial, organisational, and collaborative skills needed to carry out their work on the ground, alongside the most disadvantaged.
Cegos supports the HUMENTUM association and provides access to its e-learning modules to dozens of major international NGOs.
These include Oxfam, Save the Children, Care, WWF, World Vision, Catholic Relief Services, etc.
More than 150,000 aid workers and professionals in the voluntary sector also have access to Cegos e-learning modules. This is done through two programmes run by the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation, DisasterReady.org and NonProfitready.org.
