The Now and The Future

Cegos continues its external growth momentum with the acquisition of Interactive Workshops, a dynamic Learning & Development player in the United Kingdom, with teams based in London and New York. Training individuals, teams and organisations for nearly a century, Cegos remains at the forefront of the art and science of learning, releasing research and insights on using AI to transform individual and organisational performance. Training Industry holds Cegos as one the very few major players in the L&D market who can do everything in the corporate training landscape.

Digital Transformation and Global Leadership

2000s–2020s

Cegos launches its first e-learning modules in 2001 and continues its digital innovation by creating the Digital Learning Excellence Awards in 2010 and launching the LearningHub@Cegos platform in 2017. The company expands globally with offices in Singapore (2012), Chile (2015), Mexico (2017), and acquisitions in Germany (Integrata, 2014) and Brazil (Crescimentum, 2020; Posiciona, 2022). Cegos also acquires Next Group, a leader in professional reskilling and higher education through work-linked programmes. 

International Expansion and Innovation

1950s–1990s

In the 50s, Cegos expands into Italy, followed by Portugal in 1962, and further into Germany, the UK, and Switzerland between the 1960s and 1990s. The company also pioneers video-based training courses in 1995 and begins operations in China in 1997. In 1999, Cegos acquires ib, specializing in IT training.

Founding and Early Development

1926–1940s

Established in 1926 as the General Commission for the Scientific Organisation of Work (CGOST), Cegos aims to disseminate scientific work methods. By 1937, the organisation expands into consultancy services, advising companies on management-control techniques and sales management.
